Community Service Projects

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS:

At Sri Ramakrishna Degree College, Community Service Projects (CSPs) form an integral part of holistic education, aimed at shaping socially responsible and compassionate individuals. Through these projects, students actively engage with local communities to address real-world issues, fostering empathy, leadership, and civic responsibility.

Our CSPs span diverse areas such as education, health awareness, environmental conservation, rural development, skill training, and women empowerment. Students work in teams to identify community needs, design sustainable solutions, and implement impactful initiatives—often in collaboration with NGOs, local bodies, and industry partners.

These hands-on experiences not only enhance the students’ understanding of social challenges but also equip them with problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. By integrating service with learning, Sri Ramakrishna Degree College prepares students to become change-makers who contribute meaningfully to society.

Many teachers have taken up research projects and some of them have received UGC grants for conducting a Minor Research and Major Research. Within the domain of their disciplines, our teachers have chosen to work on the topics of their interest. Employee Performance, Binary Oxides, Retailing, Investment Behaviour and English Language Teaching (ELT) are some of the topics.
